The mission of SPEAK UP! is to make a voice and give aid to those who are suffering all over the world.
Speak Up Silent Night is FREE!! For this Speak Up we want to bring the Christmas cheer of the Savior's birth to the young and the old in our community. There will be a variety of artist performing: Apollo and Lacuna , Daniel Hilton, Sorrow Underfoot, Theophonix, San Diego Christian College artists, spoken word by Chris Kleppe and Pat Neal, and more TBA!! The cafe will be stocked with Christmas goodies, tea, coffee, hot apple cider, pizza and more!! Also there will be a small art auction and SPEAK UP! t-shirts and crocheted beanies will be for sale. Great opportunity to Christmas shop and help a cause! We will be having a NEW TOY DRIVE for kids in Mexico as well as a card station where people can make cards for the elderly in a convalescent home in El Cajon. All the proceeds from the event will go toward toys and food for the kids in Mexico for Christmas. Bring all your friends and new toys!!

FREE SPEAK UP! SHOW! There will be a variety of acoustic artist: Apollo and Lacuna , Daniel Hilton, Mark Casiple, Sorrow Underfoot, and for the first time on the west coast Jeremiah Koczman! Admission is free, come and bring all your friends! There will be a cafe stocked with espresso, tea, cookies, and piazza. Also there will be small art auction and SPEAK UP! t-shirts will be for sale. All the proceeds will go towards needy San Diego families during this Thanksgiving season. We will also we having a canned food drive that will go so these same families. So bring your friends and your cans!!

Speak Up! was created to bring awareness and aid to suffering people all over the world through the avenue of art. Every show displays a collection of talented local artists, which includes both music and art. Also each concert spotlights a needy people group and gives an opportunity to take action. Speak Up was a night of live music provided by Ladies & Gentlemen,
Sorrow Underfoot, Daniel Hilton, Mark Gomez, Sergey Kolivayko
and Josh Keas. Also there was Spoken Word and Poetry performed. In
addition to the concert, there was a silent auction art show; the pieces
were donated by local artists in San Diego. There also was a cafe set up
with coffee, smoothies, and baked goods. Also joining "Speak Up"
was C28;
they sold merchandise at a discounted price and donated a
percentage of their earnings to the trip. All proceeds went toward the
Russia mission we are having in July 2009. The team's main focus is to reach
out to the teens and orphans of Russia.
